The General Fund
Help us where and when it’s needed most.
With more than 20 sites and dozens of different programs and services for the 1,500 individuals and families served by Birch Family Services, costs arise constantly in areas that continually change over time— costs which may not be covered fully by the funding we receive from public sources.
Recent examples include:
- new playground equipment for our day care program;
- around-the-clock staffing for one of our residents during a prolonged hospital admission;
- the cost of providing immediate counseling to the family of a young child whose public funding had not yet been approved.
At times like these, we rely on the General Fund to help us respond quickly and to maintain the highest possible standards in all of the services we provide.
