Information for Agencies
When parents come to you looking for help for their children, it's important to be able to recommend a program with a proven track record.
That's the Birch Home Services Program. Using a complete range or interventions — from special education to physical therapy to play therapy — our skilled professionals help children with special needs acquire the basic skills necessary to achieve their greatest potential.
We're proud of the results. In fact, many of the children we serve no longer need special help by the time they reach kindergarten.
We offer a unique team approach.
To make sure our services are provided in the most effective way, we use a team approach in which parents, teachers and therapists all work closely together. A service planner coordinates, supports and integrates all efforts for the maximum benefit of the child.
The point is to make life better — not just for the children, but for their families, too.
Parents are at the heart of our treatment program. Our Service Planners guide parents along the entire process, from referral through evaluation to intervention. With services like parent support groups and parenting education, parents receive the training they need to help the child succeed.
Most important, the parent is always involved in the treatment decisions affecting his or her child.
Birch does it all.
First, we conduct a developmental screening and evaluation. Then whatever they need, we can provide in the child's home or school. The range of services we make available to the child — and the parent — is comprehensive:
- Occupational Therapy
- Service Coordination
- Speech Therapy
- Play Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Special Instruction
- Parenting Education and Training
It isn't necessary to use more than one agency to get the help the child needs.
